hi, i must say that i agree with joanne and rachel. i find it increasingly difficult to set aside sufficient time for some spiritual nourishing. i find myself getting into the habit of rushing through QT. okay i hope i will hold myself accountable to this blog and the girls to continue building up on my faith.

im at work now and i need to let all the hot steam out, im feeling super grumpy, annoyed and low because two of my more responsible and conscientious colleagues are not in today and the phone calls are coming in like mad and the rest are either busy with things or just acting oblivious to the incessant beeping of phone calls and one of them is so ultra grumpy and high-strung and kan cheong that he just made me even more irritated. and best of all is my boss isnt here so i guess theyre taking a little more liberty with the way they work. if they can't take the calls why cant they be more responsive and turn around and tell me so, instead of staring at the comp. GRR. i just want to go home now. thank goodness i only have 2 weeks left and soon it will be byebye gross-corporate-desk-job-with-sedentary-lifestyle-that-will-make-you-fatter-and-make-you-die-from-high-cholesterol-level-and-blood-pressure-and-heart-attack.

i dont like stocks and shares and i dont like non-responsive colleagues and i dont like the bitchy dog-eat-dog hypocritical backstabbing ways of this stupid low-down corporate world. so what if the corporate world is where you can make more money. itll make you evil, just like how its making me feel evil now. it is so completely God-less here that you would find it impossible to find any sense of joy peace or contentment if you do not have God in you.

Hello people!!! I'm finally back from taiwan! :D

I just read the posts for the past week and am so encouraged to see all of you guys updating! Yea! :)

I must agree taiwan is a super duper good place for all of us...girls!!! Shop till you drop! The stuffs there are completely cheap can...like a top or a shorts(not the causal or FBT kind) can cost only 5 bucks yet they are prreeetttyy!! I counted, i bought 11 tops, 5 bottoms, 1 heels, 2 flats, 1 pair of shoes, 1 slippers, 4 bags, many many earrings and necklaces and of course food!!! :P

U guys aren't forgotten too!! I bought some stuffs for u guys, including food!!! (Ahem, "looking" at joan..haha!) So we must meet up so that i can pass them to you guys!! :)

Ok, done expressing my joy in taiwan. Seriously, after reading rach's post on the bubble world, i do agree so much that after TL, my QT time sometimes get affected. Like from the work and stuffs-busyness. I do pray that this will not affect our walk with God. I believe its a rather serious prob that we're facing...like how we can get strayed away into the world that we only remember God when we need Him or when we are alone. Remember God every moment! Look at your palm and get reminded of His pierced ones...

Alright, i should be able to make it this sun and next sat. Confirm again! But salome and charity, so sorry i got youth at 4pm and usually needs to get down at 230pm to prepare...so i cant go too. But, congratulations in advance!! Feel the difference when you come out of the water! New life birthed! :)

Joan is back again!

Honestly, i have nothing to talk about as these few days' been the same. Been schooling daily. Same routine everyday, so yeah, what to update about? Hmmm. I still like school a lot btw! :*D

How about some random stuffs?

I just did my mani and pedi ytd. My nails are now totally white! Looking super clean! Heehee! I prefer my last week's red nails though. My FAVOURITE colour... sniffs. But thought that i should just change my nail colour every week! :*D

And yes!

I finally got a new hp and it's a 2 megapix cam-hp! Finally! My first time getting a megapix-ed hp lor. The previous one was only VGA. Ewww. Don't like!

I'm really happy about that cos i love taking pictures, if you girls don't know. Wakakaka! Oh yah, it's the super slim hp. Samsung ultra edition 8.4! :*D

Last but not least, the rats are doing great! They love eating their sunflower seeds a lot, but we can't give them a lot as they'd grow so fat!

They're already fatter now and they can't run as fast as before!!! WAHAHAHAHA! So funny! They're also lazier now, maybe bcos they're much fatter now? Mmm. Must be lah!

They're also very naughty. They don't like to bathe and they're always biting their plastic slides and house, making the properties look so ugly now! Our heart feeling all pain, cos we bought the stuffs for them one mah! You know, money.

Hai! They don't know how to treasure what they have one! Himbotic rats!

Oh. They also like shredding newspapers, i wonder why. -.-

sorry for the late entry, ive been meaning to add an entry but i keep forgetting the password. okay maybe some of you are wondering what i have been up to recently. im currently working for the online trading department of lim and tan securities and ive been there for a week so far. i have to admit that i was rather flustered on the first few days because i had no idea what stocks and shares are all about but its not so bad now! im learning along the way and getting the hang of the job. im beginning to enjoy my job more too, its exciting every day (for me, haha). my boss and colleagues are fine people too so hurrah for me haha.

well ill be working there for about a month. its at ocean building next to raffles place so if anyone wants to date me out for lunch, im free from 1230-2! (: haha.

hello. just a short update on my life now...

been lazying around at home watching tv. hopefully acs will call me back in may when the current teacher that replaced me goes overseas. i like relief job cos the pay's good and it's half day, which means i can go for driving and do other things. for now, its having time to myself :D and enjoying the "nothing-ness" of life.

oh bern.. u asked where im working? its a japanese insurance company at tanjong pagar where i file taxi accident claims everyday. today i came across this driver who got beaten up and robbed by his passengers. its not sposed to be funny, but in the monotony of the day, i couldnt help giggling at my desk. i mean when all u get is cases like someone's cab kissing someoe's car,a robbery is pretty funny.

WHERE IS RACHEL?

Let's see. Its interesting to be called sugar pies, dear, my love etc. hahah but yeah its ' heart warming' :D

It's currently 2.21 am and I have to be up in about 5 hours time because I'm going to have my first driving lesson! It is already my third attempt to drive. The first time- I got the time wrong and the second time- I didn't bring my pdl. Haha yes highly dumb and feeling abit bad about wasting the instructor's time. oh, i've got the same instructor as jolene!

Yup, haven been doing much too. Working abit with Eunice teaching small things enrichment lessons such as robotics,spykids,street magic, crime science. Other than that I would be packing stuff, doing abit of admin work, church stuff, going out and plain slacking. Similar to Joanne, I am waking up each day close to eleven and sleeping around 1 plus too. Holidays for me would be sleeping as and when i want ( no drinking disgusting coffee to study till the wee hours) and waking up when i want. ( no counting to 10 and forcing myself into the showers to get ready for school) :P Haha, but it always feels that there is something more to live for. yeah like what joanne say, I'm not really living life to the fullest too. Maybe I'm not spending enough time with Him, unlike the times in Tung ling, hence the void.

Highlight of the week or rather something that is occupying much of my brain is that I'll be leading worship alone for the first time this friday ( my youth service). This time, there will be no lynn ern and rachel to help me sing anymore. So please pray that I don't freak and faint on stage, that God will just be in control and my singing wont distract anybody. hahah.

It feels like TL has passed for really long already. I don't know...though it's only 2.5 weeks passed. Feels like we graduated a month ago. haha...yeap u guys are having so much fun at work and school. Ok, at least there's something for you guys to be busy about. Unlike me, giving tuition 3 hrs a week, refereeing only few hours a week and slacking my days away!! Eat, sleep, shit. Yes, i wake up at 10+ and sleep at 1+. Don't be jealous...nothing to be jealous about...cause it's plain boring! :( Though i get to meet up with long time no see friends and watch korean and taiwan and hongkees drama serials, i'm kind of wasting my life away. Tell me about living my life to the fullest...i completely didn't live it to the fullest. Bleah.

Ok, at least i'm aware of it. Not so bad afterall la... Fine, i'm done with my "complains". Haha!

Alright, i'm leaving for taiwan this thurs! Yea! (Though i'm not exactly super excited about it, i don't know why...) Do pray for me and my family yea? Like safety and protection. Will be back next thurs with goodies for all of you!! (You guys are never forgotten!) Well, if any of you have anything that you want me to buy back, sms me yea? As long as i'm still in taiwan, i'll try to get for you...and not too expensive stuffs ah! Not exactly bringing alot of $$ there. Haha! My hp got auto-roam!

Hello My Sugarpies!

I'm here to update you girls about poly life!

First day of school, which was ytd, totally rocked! I know that i'll love school so much! I feel it! But actually, i've always loved school lah so yeah. I'm so glad that i made the right choice know - entering poly. I used to think that poly isn't my kinda thing but really, now, i think poly is my kinda thing. LOL.

School hours are great. I like the fact that school only starts in the afternoon on Mondays and Tuesdays. Can wake up super late, say 2pm and 12 pm respectively?! :*)

Also, school hours are rather short. Which is also another good thing bcos i won't feel as if my brains're gonna burst after each lecture or whatever. We have long breaks in between too! Shiok!

I'm down with Heat Rash, so i'm unable to attend school today. Awww. I'm pretty sad about that. I actually like school so much that i don't wanna skip school at all. Amazing huh.

Ytd was really good. I really paid attention in class. Actually another reason i'm afraid of skipping school today's cos i'm scared that i'll not be able to catch up with the rest. I really wanna do well in school, you know! And i'm happy that my attitude towards studying is good! Hopefully my momentum doesn't go away soon :*Pp

Last but not least, i have two GERBILS now!

They're my pet hamsters/rats! They're actually hamsters with long tails. Disgusting at first sight, but i've actually fallen in love with them as days passed.

They're so adorable!

They'll run about here and there and also act cute when you play with them. But once you leave them alone, within say, 2 mins, you'll find them soundly asleep already. Cute hor??? Hee.

But they haven't been eating and drinking well! My sis and i're worried. :*(

Their names?

My sis gave them names like "Ed" and "Eddy". But well, i call them "Smelly" and "Shit" cos they're really smelly! Together, they're either called Smelly Shit or Asses (bcos both of their names start with letter S). Wahahaha!

P/s: Do you know that i detest hamsters? I wonder why i just love my Gerbils.

What've i been up to?

For the past two days - Wednesday (11/04/07) and Thursday (12/04/07), i had my orientation. I'm in NanYang Poly btw, taking Business Management!

Anyways, i've met my classmates already. They're not too bad, just that i'm pretty disappointed that there aren't any like me. I feel kinda restricted to go totally crazy in front of them, afraid that they'll think that i'm really weird.

WAHAHAHAHA.

However, hopefully as days pass, we'll (my classmates and i) all open up even more yah.

Entering poly isn't as tough as it seemed! I've made many friends (got along well with my classmates and others from diff courses!) and i'm so happy about that! Heehee. And of course, lotsa guys are sms-ing me right now (eheh, not surprising lor, know who i am not) and i REALLY don't dare to sign in msn now lahhhh! :xX

Oh yah. No one knows that i'm Jasmine Tye's sister yet. I really hope they don't know cos i don't want them to befriend me cos of that, know? And no one knows that i sing or that i'm my secondary school's Macpherson Idol.

I danced properly to Sexyback with 2 other guys and i was totally surprised by the overwhelming response by the audience! I'm so glad lah! Felt like a star ytd! :D

Oh yah.

Poly isn't that slack actually.

Our code of conduct rules are pretty strict!

No slippers allowed. Gotta wear shoes or at least sandals!

And guess what? My timetable's pretty odd.

On Monday, my school only starts at 4pm and ends at 8 pm. -.- And on Tuesday, school only starts at about 2.30 pm (or later, i can't rmb).

So funnayeeee rightttt? Weird ppl. Weirder than me! KAKAKA.

You know, i really miss you girls. I have to say that you girls are the nicest bunch. I don't think i'll meet any other group of girls like you all in school.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been blogging but I've been coming in regularly to read your posts! I'm actually now in my dad's law firm BLOGGING. haha. My "supervisor" is not around so I can't ask for more files from him, since the efficient Lynn Ern has already completed all the work he gave her just now:) Can't wait for him to get back because I feel guilty that I'm using the internet and blogging... and I'm getting paid for it! Yes, so it's my dad who's gonna be paying me, so what's wrong BUT... that makes it even weirder!

Anyhow, I started work at my dad's law firm since Tuesday and I'll be working every Tuesday to Thursday each week. So I'll only be working 3 days a week.

yahh but beta blogger is irritationg. So you could go do an online tutorial on how to use XML which is eeky. Or you could download a skin that is XML compaitable-searched for that on blogskins and a grand total of 12 skins came up. Out of which 0 was suitable :p
So we can wait a bit longer and hopefully people will just start writing suitable code or does anybody knows how to do it??

Are we going to implement the everybody has to blog at least once a week on this blog? :)

Blog Development Update

hello! as u can see, the layout is still all white and plain. but at least we're up n running. :)

we've hit some problems with changing the layout. the normal way is to go blogskins.com and copy paste html. easy peasy. but then!! now that we're using the new GOOGLE BLOGGER, the html codes dont work. apparently they're running by xml. whatevr that is.

even the great yurong couldnt adapt the code. we tried that day after sending weiye off. and lynette was watching with a blank look on her face. then again, maybe it was the lack of sleep. haha. soon after which she gave up and started eating soursop.
okay talking rubbish.
so. if anyone is brill enough, do give the layout thing a go!

hello, its me again...

so some of us went to the airport early this morning to see weiye off. we gave him the adidas cap and scrapbook. i think he liked it :) took many fotos which are in lynn ern's cam. after all the present giving and foto taking, weiye was teary! I guess he was really happy to know that there were so many ppl behind him as he leaves for china. like what was written in the scrapbook, "God's only a prayer away and we're only an email away".

oh, bernice misread the word "unglam" as "linglam". LINGLAM?! i thought that was really funny :D so that shall be the secret code for unglam ok.

How're you girls doing?

It's a monday and i've got nth to do! It feels funny. Hehehe. Am at home packing my study table now. Soooo messy lah! Must make sure everything's neat and tidy before sch starts! :*)

Anyways;

Eunice, we'll be sending Wei Ye off on Wednesday. Before that, guess we're gg to eat or something. Not sure about the details yet. Maybe you can sms Wei Ye to confirm his fight timing then we all could meet up earlier to have makan fellowship!

Hey how is everyone? Yurong just taught me to blog hehe my first time blogging. By the way, does anybody know what is happening this wednesday? Are we still having our sentosa outing? I heard that the adults are planning it.Are they? Does anyone know who is organising it?

I must admit i'm missing the class already!! Cannot imagine that i don't have to wake up at 545am tml! No more mrt rides, bus 14, rushing to school for worship pracs, sleeping in class, talking nonsense, doing stupid things and laughing at everyone. Bleah. How's everyone doing? Having plans for the rest of the months/days till school starts? According to my friend who went TL 2 years back, she says her friendship with most people in TL kind of died down already and that's really a pity...Will we too??(Not to be negative la, but realistic.) I guess one thing that will always keep us together regardless of wherever we are is this blog. Thanks to whoever who thought of it!
