hello. been quite a while since i posted something cos i'm too lazy to type. some interesting events in the past few weeks...
1) youth mission exposure trip to thailand
been 3 years since i last went with church youths to thailand. again, it was a different experience. the last time i went, i was one of the younger girls. being younger and on my first trip, mostly watched the older youths do the "tougher" jobs.
the team that went this year was smaller. i was one of the older youths this time. one of the significant experiences was preaching in mandarin at a chinese orphanage. have not spoken in a while so it was a challenge. i didnt even know that satan was "sa(third sound) dan(fourth sound)". i thought i was being tricked cos it sounds like silly egg :D
my message was about us needing to constantly draw closer to God. very short, about 10 mins... in a way, i was preaching it to myself. feeling quite distant from God. it was a good reminder for me to press on. good experience overall.
2) childrens camp
helped out part-time at this years childrens camp. focus was on the holy spirit. was nice to see all the children enjoy themselves, learning about the Holy Spirit as well as from their youth leaders. tho sometimes i wonder if they really understand what they're being taught, i learn to take it face value. like how God knows that we dont mean our sorries sometimes, that we will commit the same sin again, he still takes our word
yup as for the next few weeks, it'll be about driving(practical in 2 weeks and i'm not confident at all) and catching up with friends. you ppl update too! ^_^

Yurong...
Hello hello!
I'm finally getting down to packing my stuff and all cause I'm going to move house pretty soon.
So I'm burning CDs of photos. Is there anybody who I have not sent photos too and want photos besides lynette and bernice?
yupyup, time flies eh? We only have 2 months left of our 8 months holiday! where are all of you Schooling? Sometimes I think back and wondered what did I do with my time. Then, I'm glad I went to Tung Ling. Currently, I'm not holding any regular job with the horrible timing of 9-6 :P Occasionally i work at haagen daz, often the night shift which keeps me out late till about 2-3 am. I was just reading some book and this is what it says : ' The point is not to stay busy or pass time with entertainment, the goal is to be productive. It is doing what counts, one activity at a time.' It spoke to me because I'm kinda guilty of staying busy either with work or with entertainment. Even though I work so little, I'm always occupied.
So I guess the question is ' what truely counts? ' :)
Yup, I'm going Kun Ming soon. Maybe I'll see wei ye :p
okay take cares everyone!
